CREATE BUBBLES,
NOT BOMBS
ABOUT
Who We Are
Create Bubbles, Not Bombs was founded by Quaker circus performers, Logan Jimenez and Corey Suesakul. In October of 2023 Logan was performing at the State Fair of Texas when a shooter opened fire into the crowd resulting in three people being shot. In the days following the shooting people flocked to Logan's bubble show and he saw first hand the healing power of entertainment.
Building off that experience our goal is two-fold. We provide entertainment as a form of community healing for communities that are recovering from violence. We also use entertainment as a way to prevent violence from unfolding by providing an outlet for communities that are at risk to channel their fears and anxieties into an avenue other than violence.
PEACE BUILDINGÂ THROUGH ENTERTAINMENT
What We Believe In
Healing From Violence
Sadly, too many communities are affected by violence whether it be a small town in America that is recovering from a school shooting or folks around the world who are have been driven out of their homes due to war. We believe healing begins with a smile. We help provide entertainment to communities who are recovering from violence at no charge to the community.
Preventing Violence
If we want to live in peace, we can't simply wish for it. We must work towards peace. Studies throughout the world have that one of the best ways to prevent violence is through community engagement. We are proud to work with community leaders around the world to help create shows, workshops, and classes that are designed to create healing relationships within their communities.
Lifting Voices
We know entertainment can help heal communities but we also know we must advocate for peacemaking and violence interruption/prevention programs. Every community that has been impacted by violence has storytellers with stories to tell. We believe by lifting these voices up we can help educate our neighbors, politicians, and the world on the impact of violence and how we can prevent it from happening.
